What we do
Airport systems and technology
The systems an airport runs on are bought once a decade, run every day and touched by every department. Getting the design right before the procurement is written is the cheapest decision you will make.
What we do
A technology decision starts here, before procurement is written, a business case is built or a bid goes out. Going Systems provides solution design, target architecture and technical advice across airport management systems, information display, passenger processing and common use, baggage, billing, biometrics, digital identity, cybersecurity, resilience and border control.
The work is vendor-neutral and localisation-aware. We know how each class of system is built and sold, how it behaves in a hub and in a regional airport, and what a national programme will ask of it. That lets us set requirements a market can meet and an operator can live with.
Where a programme is greenfield, designated critical information infrastructure or subject to sovereignty rules, we design the in-country architecture, hosting and support model to pass those tests from the start.
Focus areas
Passenger experience and processing
- Passenger experience design across the end-to-end journey
- Seamless travel: continuous digital identity from enrolment to touchpoint
- Biometrics from pilot to daily operation
- Privacy by design: consent, retention, controller and processor responsibilities
- Passenger processing and common use (CUTE, CUPPS, CUSS)
- Information display: FIDS, DDS and advertising displays
- Kiosks, automated bag drop and automation strategy
- Wayfinding and journey engagement concepts
Systems and architecture
- Technology strategy, digital transformation and roadmap
- Solution design and target architecture
- AMS and AODB workflow, digital twin and what-if scenario modelling
- Airport ICT infrastructure planning
- Critical information infrastructure and sovereignty architecture
- System resilience, cybersecurity governance and incident response planning
- Operating and support model design
- Border control and identity technology
