What we do
Programme management
Airport systems programmes have plenty of ambition. What they need is someone who has taken one from requirement to go-live before and knows where the weeks go.
What we do
Going Systems provides resident expert and programme support for owners, operators, authorities and integrators: requirements, vendor and partner capability assessment, bid management, contract structuring, delivery governance and airport optimisation.
We have directed the delivery of core airport systems and have sat on the vendor side of the same programmes. That means we know what a deliverable scope looks like, what a vendor will push back on, and which milestones are the ones that matter.
Engagements range from a named principal embedded in your programme office to a full programme structure with PMO, governance and cutover planning.
For suppliers, that same discipline builds the team that keeps a system running once it is sold: local delivery, installation and support that grows as contracts are won, so the person on the ground is in place before the first system goes live, not after.
Focus areas
- Requirements, RFI and RFP, and vendor capability assessment
- Price benchmarking, negotiation support and contract review
- Master systems integrator and greenfield structuring
- Programme and project management, PMO set-up
- Migration, cutover and go-live governance
- Operational readiness and transition
- In-region delivery and support for suppliers, resourced as contracts are won
- National and multi-airport standardisation programmes
- Localisation and in-country services entity models
When the going gets tough, the tough get Going.
Some programmes come to us already under way: a cutover that has slipped, a vendor relationship that has hardened, a bid due in weeks. We join mid-programme, take stock in days, and put governance around what happens next, with a principal who has been on both sides of that table.
