Why Going Systems

People who have taken airport systems from design to bid to go‑live, now on your side of the table

  • Independent

Our recommendations are built on your business case. The advice is the product.

  • Ability to execute

Our people have designed, priced, bid, compared and delivered airport systems. The plan works because it already has.

  • Senior practitioners

Each engagement is led by the principal best matched to it. The people you meet are the people who do the work.

  • Built to be run

We design for decisions that hold up in the business case, in procurement and in daily operation, long after the day of award.

What we do

Technology, delivery and the commercial deal, handled by one team

  • Airport systems and technology

We design the systems an airport runs on: solution design, target architecture and technical advice, vendor-neutral and localisation-aware.

  • Programme management

We run the programme from the first decision to a system in service: requirements, procurement, vendor management and delivery governance.

Where we join you

One direction of travel. We join wherever you are

Every airport technology decision moves through the same stages, whether you are buying a system or selling one. Going Systems joins at the stage you are at and stays as long as the work needs.

  1. Where you are

    Brief

You have a question, and it needs framing before anyone acts on it.

You leave with a short written brief that frames the work, whoever does it.

  2. Where you are

    Assess

You need the options, costs and risks laid out.

You leave with an assessment with options, costs, risks and a recommendation.

  3. Where you are

    Decide

You are choosing: business case, requirements, RFP, evaluation, bid.

You leave with decision documents you own and can defend internally.

  4. Where you are

    Deliver

You are implementing, and it has to work on the day of go-live, and for many years after.

You leave with a system in service, built to still be running years after go-live.

Where we join you

This week, Going Systems goes to Passenger Terminal Expo Asia

Passenger Terminal Expo Asia opens this week at Marina Bay Sands: the first regional edition of a show that has run in Europe for three decades, with Changi Airport Group as host partner. Going Systems is Singapore based. We are stepping onto the floor with a plan: find the operators and authorities weighing a systems decision, find the vendors and suppliers building their case for Asia Pacific, and start the conversation while the show is live.
